Updated pictures….
It has been quite some time since I added any pictures so I am going to add my fish. He is actually the family fish. My husband really likes this fish. He tells guests that we have an albino piranha (Tiger Oscar actually). He thinks he is a piranha when he tries to latch onto your finger when you feed him. He will swim up towards the top of the tank and bang the lid when he wants to be fed. My husband has him trained to do this.
He has taken to pulling his plants out and knocking over his castle. He seems to like playing with them. If you put reattach them to the gravel, he just pulls them back out. He resides in a 50 gallon tank. It is approximately 2′w x 4′l x 3′d. Tiger Oscar is maybe 7″ I believe. It is really hard to measure a fish when he won’t sit still. He does seem to actually possess a personality for a fish.

He is quite the fish. You pictures don’t do him justice if he’s 7″!! I’d say that he does look a bit like an albino, not sure about the pirranah though.

I’m surprised that your husband has not trained him to make the foaming at the mouth and upset all the water around him too. But…knowing your hubby….just give him a little more time.
Believe me…the thought has crossed his mind. He does have him eating out of his hand….he will nip at your finger which is why he tells any kids that come it is an albino piranha….
